JOB SUMMARY:

 

We are looking for 24 high school students for our Labourer positions across the province. This is more than just a job, it's an opportunity to make an impact on our power future and explore what your future could hold!

 

The role of a Labourer Summer Student includes a variety of challenging duties that may involve some or all of the following:

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

 

- Assisting the Powerline Techs in Construction, maintenance, and operation activities.
- Perform both unskilled and semi-skilled tasks, i.e. Framing power poles, building powerline, trenching underground cable, being a ground person for workers aloft, stocking trucks, maintaining equipment and yards, perform inspections.
- May require you to pick up and deliver construction material.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

 

- CSA approved dielectric soled safety boots are a requirement for this position.

- Must be physically fit and have a valid Class 5 Driver's License.
